Steven Douglas McGill

Steven Douglas McGill, Sr., 61, died Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Palmyra. He was born in New Albany on September 11, 1957, the son of Donald R. and Betty June McKim McGill. He was a mechanic at ICON for over 25 years. He is a member and recording secretary of Local UAW 2289. Survivors include 2 Sons: Steven Douglas McGill, Jr. (Shela Mae) of Jeffersonville and Jesse Christopher McGill (Nancy) of Cambridge, NY; 2 Daughters: Brandy Suzanne McGill (Clayton) of Marengo and Bethany June Garrow (Daniel) of Palmyra, IN; his mother: Betty June McGill; Brother: Mark D. McGill (Sheri) of Sellersburg, IN; 3 Sisters: Susan Adams (Ronald) of Milton, KY, Melissa Blount (Jess) of Corydon, Rebecca Herbert (Bryan) of Georgetown; 7 Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2-6 PM Wednesday and 9-11 AM Thursday at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family requests that friends please wear bright colors to celebrate Steven's life.
