Sonny M. Bratcher Obituary (1933

Elizabeth, Indiana Sonny M. Bratcher, 79, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN He was born on June 5, 1933 in Butler County, KY the son of Herbert and Sylvia Butler Bratcher. He was a retired machinist from Brown-Williamson Tobacco Co. and a member of the First Baptist Church in Elizabeth, IN. He is survived by His wife- Betty Houchens Bratcher of Elizabeth, Indiana Two Sons- David Bratcher (Teresa) and James Michael Bratcher (Cindy) both of Elizabeth, Indiana One Daughter- Donna Ruth Smith (Michael) of Wamsutter, Wyoming One Brother- Clemon Bratcher of Woerchester, Ohio Two Sisters- Delphia Adkins of Woercester, Ohio Edith Burgess of Burbank, Ohio Five Grandchildren-Brandon, Adam, Kristen, Lea and John IV and several great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Elizabeth at 4 PM on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Rev. Jeff Ball will officiate. Mr. Bratcher donated his body to Indiana University School of Medicine. The family requests no flowers, they would like memorial gifts to be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or to The Alzheimers Association.
