Obituary for Anna Carmen Shultz Cox

Anna Carmen Shultz Cox, 95, died in New Albany on Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born in Beaver Dam, Kentucky on August 1, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Kitty Berryman Shultz. She worked as a Bank Teller and was a founding member of Cherry Street Church of Christ in New Albany. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Cox; brother, Joseph Charles Shultz; and her sister, Dorothy Mangum.
She is survived by her son, Larry Cox (Carol) of Lanesville and her daughter Linda S. Davis (Danny) of Georgetown. Four Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 PM and Saturday from 9-11 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Edith Bleecker will officiate. Burial will be in Mathers Chapel Cemetery in English. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the New Albany-Floyd County Animal Shelter.
