Obituary for Philip E. Simpson

Philip E. Simpson, 81, died Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home in Palmyra. He was born in Camache, Iowa on May 30, 1936, the son of Jesse A. and Mildred Archer Simpson. He was a retired supervisor for Bell Telephone Company and a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. He served 8 years in the US Naval Reserves.
He is survived by his wife Janice McFarland Simpson;
2 Daughters: Deb Reynolds-Deiss of Palmyra and
Sherri Hall of Autryville, NC;
5 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Scott Blessett will officiate. Friends may call Saturday between 10 AM and 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Corydon.
The family suggests expressions of sympathy be made to “Donate To Reach Kids for the Gospel of Christ” at www.awana.org.
