Nellie I. Rice Obituary (1926

Georgetown, IN Nellie I Rice, 87, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was the daughter of Harlin and Jetta Cooper Babcock. She was a retired employee of the Floyd County School Corp., a member of the Edwardsville United Methodist Church and the Willing Workers. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Berl D. Rice, and a granddaughter, Teresa Rice. She is survived by two sons: Randy Rice (Jennifer) and Rudy Rice both of New Albany, In. 3 grandchildren: Jason Rice of Clarksville, Tenn., Kimberly Mikesell of Montgomery, Ill. and Kerri Kemper of Fishers, Indiana, and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, May 6, 2013 at Edwardsville United Methodist Church at 11 AM. Visitation will be Saturday, May 4, from 2 PM to 8 PM, Sunday 2 PM to 8 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, Indiana and Monday from 9 AM until 11 AM at her church. Her family suggests memorial donations be made to Edwardsville United Methodist Church.
