Lester "Butch" Allen McRae Obituary (1964 - 2018)

Lester Allen "Butch" McRae, 54, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana. He was born June 30, 1964 in Corydon, Indiana the son of Lester Murr "Bud" and Cletice Faye McAdams McRae. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #104 Jefferson Lodge in New Albany, IN. He was preceded in death by his father, his nephew, Alex Simmons and his father-in-law Charles Byerley, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Tracey Byerley McRae of Mauckport, IN; two sons, Samuel McRae of New Albany, IN, and Ryan Wilkerson of Mauckport, IN; one daughter, Lily McRae of Elizabeth, IN; his mother Cletice Faye McRae of Brandenburg, KY; two sisters, Kathy Simmons of Brandenburg, KY and Patty Troutman (Tony) of Laconia, IN; two grandchildren, Lucas McRae and Braxton Lucas; nephews, Eric Simmons and T.J. Troutman and niece, Samantha Troutman. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery near Mauckport. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 8 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 and 9 AM to 1 PM Thursday also at the funeral home in Corydon.
