Elizabeth, Indiana LaVonda Carol Ballard, 60, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Park Terrace Village in Evansville, Indiana. She was born in Corydon, Indiana on September 21, 1955. She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church in Elizabeth, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father Donald 'Ray' Ballard. She is survived by Her Mother Carolyn Sieboldt Ballard of Elizabeth, Indiana Two Brothers- John Ballard (Pamela) of Elizabeth, Indiana David Ballard (Brenda) of Waco, Kentucky Three Sisters- Sallie Wernert (Larry) of Elizabeth, Indiana Roselyn Smith (Jim) of Berea, Kentucky Teresa Agee (Ray) of Richmond, Kentucky Friend- Karen Varda of Evansville, Indiana Nieces and Nephews- Jeremy Ballard (Rachel), Radford Ballard (Miranda), Jessica Davis (Junior), Daniel Ballard (Rachel), Rebecca Williams (Brandon), Brian Agee (Kesha), Robbie Smith (Ashley), Jamie Grubb (Curtis), Tasha McArthur (Josh), Rachel Mil (Jose), Elizabeth Kirkham (Jacob), Brandon, Dillon and Kristen Wernert. Twenty Great Nieces and Nephews and One Great Great Niece. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Pastor David Ballard will officiate. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 2 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2016 and from 9 AM to 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home in Corydon, Indiana. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the American Diabetes Association.
