Janet Ann Czeschin

Janet Ann Nelson Czeschin, 92, died Sunday, January 28, 2024, in Corydon. Janet was born November 29, 1931, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Frank Wall and Elizabeth Freed Nelson. Janet was a member of Corydon United Methodist Church. Janet had a beautiful life, summering in Corydon and wintering in Florida and she thoroughly enjoyed time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and golf. She was also a talented needleworker, creating projects using various techniques including crewl, needlepoint and knitting. Numerous family and friends have her personalized Christmas stockings.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; her sister, Nancy Stair and her brother-in-law, Calvin Czeschin. She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Czeschin of Corydon, IN; two sons, Chris (Kathy) Czeschin of Blue Ridge, GA and Frank (Debbie) Czeschin of Corydon, IN; brother-in-law, Bob Stair of Viera, FL and sister-in-law, Sissy Czeschin of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Danielle Lasley, Corey Thatcher, Ashley Altenbach, and Mindy Kress, 10 great grandchildren, 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Chaplain Shannon Queenan will officiate. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chris and Frank Czeschin, Corey Thatcher, Kyle Lasley, Stephen Altenbach, Brad Kress and Cam Lasley. The burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
