Corydon, Indiana Howard Wilson Harbeson, 96, passed away Friday, August 03, 2012 at his home in Corydon. He was born in Corydon on December 15, 1915 the son of Claude and Effie Gehlbach Harbeson. He worked for Dupont in Louisville from 1951 to 1959 , was a farmer and a production worker for Keller Manufacturing. He was a member of York Rite and the Masonic Lodge # 32 in Corydon, was an Army veteran of WWII, a member of VFW #2950. He was a member of Corydon United Methodist Church. He is survived by His wife-Alma Crecelius Harbeson of Corydon, IN Four Sons-Dennis Harbeson, Dallas Harbeson (Donna), Steven Harbeson (Reba) and Jeff Harbeson (Sandy) all of Corydon. Five Daughters- Sandra Hamilton (Michael) and Harriett Eckart (Clyde) both of Corydon, IN, Mindy Timberlake (Gary) of Ramsey, IN Judy Yates (George) of Brandenburg, KY Ruth Phipps (James) of Ramsey, IN One Brother- Donald Harbeson of Georgetown, IN Joe Harbeson (Gloria) of Corydon, IN Sister-in-Law- Mary Ann Harbeson of New Albany, IN Twenty Grandchildren and Twenty-six Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be held at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon on Monday at 2 PM. Pastor Adam Roe will officiate. Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Corydon on Sunday from 11AM to 8 PM and after 9 AM on Monday. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to his church. Pallbearers will be Robert, Chris, Jacob and Jeffery Harbeson, Gary Timberlake, Jr. and Greg Yates. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam, Travis, Mark and Jeremy Harbeson and Kent Timberlake.
