Fern E. McKim Obituary (1915

Corydon, Indiana Fern E. McKim, 97, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. She was born January 19th 1915 in Harrison County Indiana, the daughter of Strause and Minnie Rainbolt Crecelius. She joined hands in marriage with Ora McKim on September 5, 1931. She was a homemaker and an avid quilter and gardener. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Corydon. She was preceded in death by her husband Ora McKim, a son Virgil Wayne McKim, a daughter Norma Cundiff, nine sisters and one brother. She is survived by One daughter-Vondarene Snyder of Lacombe, Louisiana. One sister-Alma Harbeson of Corydon, Indiana. Nine grandchildren- Dennis Snyder (Ellen) of Lacombe, Louisiana. Dallas Snyder (Kathy) of Richmond, Texas Lori Sellers (Mark) of Columbus, Indiana Kellye Hamm (Chris) of Loveland, Ohio Jeffery McKim (Jennifer) of Owensboro, Kentucky Ashley McKim (Julie) of Freetown, Indiana Harley Brewer (Chris) of Elizabeth, Indiana Lee Brewer (Pennie) of Corydon, Indiana Michelle Pierson (Dennis) of Corydon, Indiana 17 great-grandchildren 6 great great grandchildren And 1 great great great grandchild Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1pm at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Homes in Corydon. Delbert McKim will be the speaker. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Corydon. On Friday from 1pm to 8pm and after 9am on Saturday. The family suggests the memorial gifts be made to Kingdom Hall of Jahovahs Witnesses in Corydon, IN. Pallbearers will be Lee and Harley Brewer, Jeffrey and Ashley McKim, Drew Sellers, and Skyler King. Visitation: In Corydon at at Gelhbach and Royse Funeral Homes at 1pm - 8pm on Friday, and after 9am on Saturday. Funeral: Held in at Gelhbach and Royse Funeral Homes at 1pm on Saturday. Interment: Cedar Hill Cemetery
