Ellis "Glenn" Waynescott Obituary (1943 - 2019)

Ellis "Glenn" Waynescott, 75, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Hosparus Care Inpatient Facility in Louisville, KY. He was born September 3, 1943 in Elizabeth, Indiana the son of Hubert L. and Hazel Huffman Waynescott. He was a school bus driver for special education for the Floyd County School System. He was a member of First Church of God in New Albany and was a 41 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He is survived by his wife Linda Rice Waynescott of Georgetown, IN; three sons, Rodney Waynescott (Heidi) of Depauw, IN, Jeff Waynescott of New Salisbury, IN and Doug Waynescott of Georgetown; his brother, Dallas Waynescott (Norma Sue) and sister, Rose Johnson (Dallas) both of Corydon, IN, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Pastors Leland Lockhart and Terry Blackford will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2019 and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home in Georgetown.
