Eleanor M. Mulvey, 90, died Saturday, September 24, 2022, in New Albany, Indiana. She was born January 22, 1937 in Webster, MA to John J. and Bella Wasielewski McDermott. She was a member of St. John's Parish in Auburn, MA as well as a member of the Red Hats. She was an employee of State Mutual Insurance Co. for over 25 years. Upon retirement she enjoyed extensive traveling with the Auburn Senior Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Martin Mulvey.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Mulvey (Julie) of Groveland, FL; her daughter Kathleen Merk (Joe) of Corydon, IN; grandchildren, Erin Keedy-Merk (Meredith) of Indianapolis, IN, Colleen Salas (Edgar) of Nicholasville, KY, Joseph Merk (Kayla) of Crandall, IN, Michael Merk of Corydon, IN, Erin Watson of Seattle, WA, Jimmy Mulvey of Waldorf, MD; great grandchildren, Liam, Carlyle, Elliott, E.J., Lennon, Presley, Connor, and one on the way.
The family will have visitation Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 3 PM until 6 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN before Eleanor is taken to her final resting place in St. John's Cemetery of Worcester, MA.
