Lanesville, IN Edmund K. Banet, 82, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home in Lanesville, Indiana. He was born September 1, 1933 in Floyd Co. Indiana to Auguston P and Anna S. Rice Banet. He retired from Cummins Veneer. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Ian Banet, three brothers, Harold, Raymond and Donnie Banet. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Elsie I. Callaway Banet One Son- Randall Banet(Roxanne of North Vernon, IN One Brother- Richard Banet(Frances) of Lanesville, IN One Sister Dorothy Rippy of Richmond, VA Grandchildren Anissa, Jacob and Sarah Banet of North Vernon, IN Visitation will be Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 5 PM until 8 PM and the Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, Indiana and Monday, from 10-11. There will be a graveside service at 11 AM at Edwardsville, Cemetery in Edwardsville, Indiana. The family request memorial donations be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana. Visitation: Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 5 PM - 8 PM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN and after 10 AM Monday until 11 AM Funeral: Graveside service at 11 AM Interment: Edwardsville Cemetery
