Eddith E. Jones-Hunton Obituary (1915

Elizabeth, Indiana Eddith E. Jones Hunton, 98, passed away at the home of her daughter, Sunday, June 1, 2014. She was born in Island, Kentucky on October 31, 1915 the daughter of Azro and Florida Harvey Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Lanesville. She was preceded in death by her first husband- Herbert Jones, her second husband- Oscar Hunton, a son- Cecil Jones, Sr. and three grandchildren Cecil Jones, Jr., Dennis Wayne Jones and Tina Brown. She is survived by A Son- Eldon Jones of Louisville, Kentucky A Daughter- Brenda Brown of Lanesville, Indiana Four Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren and Seventeen Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Frank Pendleton will officiate. Burial will be in Evans Landing Cemetery in Evans Landing, IN. Visitation will be held 10 AM to 8 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the funeral home in Corydon and after 9 AM on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Monte Brown, Tyler Baker, Dennis Jenkins, John and Nick Jones and Jeff Winstead.
