David "Yogi" Anthony Timberlake Obituary (1954 - 2018)

Corydon, Indiana David "Yogi" Anthony Timberlake, 63, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at his home in Corydon. He was born June 22, 1954 in Corydon the son of Frank R. and Barbara Ann Ledford Timberlake. He was a 1972 graduate of Corydon Central High School and was retired from Walter Martin Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Michael Timberlake, his brother-in-law, Paul Piet and two infant grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Luther Timberlake; two sons, Chris Timberlake of Corydon and Joshua Scalf (Samantha) of Borden, IN; four daughters Cindy Mathis (Steven) of Jeffersonville, IN; Rebecca Nifong (Craig) of New Albany, IN, Judith Babcock (Ryan) of Clarksville, IN, Brandi Scalf of Jeffersonville, IN; two brothers, Ron Timberlake (Diana) of Corydon, IN, Jeff Timberlake (Sylvia) of Georgetown, IN; sister, Trinita Piet of Corydon; nine grandchildren, Andrew, Kayla, Devin, Alexis, Avery, Tyler, Natalee, Emma and Levi; and two great grandchildren, Thorin and Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 8 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2018 and from 9 AM to 12 PM Thursday. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the CCHS Class of 1972.
