Wildah Fern Gehlbach Obituary (1918 - 2015)

Lanesville, Indiana Wildah Fern Gehlbach, 97, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at Lincoln Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born in Corydon, Indiana on June 28, 1918 the daughter of Harvey B. and Elsie O. Froman Breeden. She was a homemaker and a member of Pfrimmers Chapel United Methodist Church in Corydon and Chapel Belles at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband- Orlan C. Gehlbach, three brothers- Weldon, Clifford and Max Breeden, four sisters-Louise Breeden, Oma Helen Breeden, Vera Breeden and Elva Cline. She is survived by Two sons- Virgil O. Gehlbach of Lanesville, Indiana John F. Gehlbach (Gloria) of Marengo, Indiana Two daughters-Deanna R. Bowerman of New Albany, Indiana Donna K. Lieber (Roger) of Wilson, North Carolina Two sisters- Waneka Mackison of Rockville, Maryland Christine Deich of Salem, Indiana Nine grandchildren- Johnny, Greg and Jeffrey Gehlbach, Alan and Paul Bowerman, Rodney, Ryan and David Lieber and Dana Jones. Fourteen great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 19, 2015 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Pastor Tim Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Pfrimmers Chapel Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be held from 2 PM to 8 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015 and from 9 AM to 1 PM on Monday at the funeral home in Corydon. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to either the Alzheimers Association or the the charity of the donor's choice.
