Virginia Mae Kirby Lankford Obituary (1938 - 2018)

Virginia Mae Kirby Lankford known to most as Jenny, formerly of Lanesville, IN, died at her home in Elm City, NC, on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, at the age of 80. She is survived by two sisters, three daughters, two sons, 11 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Bill E. Lankford, as well as their two children, Timothy E. & Kathy Jo. Also, her parents, Francis M. & Laura E. (Singleton) Kirby; her five brothers, and four sisters. A graveside service will be at Lanesville Protestant Cemetery in Lanesville on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018 at 10:30 am alongside her beloved husband. A friends and family gathering will follow at the Jaycee Building at the park off of Hwy 62 in Lanesville. Arrangements by Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, Corydon, IN.
