Suzanne M. Kochert

Suzanne M. Kochert, 90, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at the home of her daughter in Jeffersonville, IN. She was born February 2, 1931, in Lanesville, IN the daughter of Edward and Gertrude Bachman Ehalt. Suzanne was an employee of Dawn Foods and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville, IN. She married James Kochert on June 21, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James and sons, Tim, and Tony Kochert. She is survived by her daughter Julie A. McCartin (Mark) of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Erin Braune (Nic) and Katie Hurt (Joe) both of Jeffersonville, IN; and great grandchildren Hollis Allen and August Rose Braune. Funeral service will be at 11 AM Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville, IN. Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2021, and again on Wednesday from 9 AM to 10:30 AM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to either Providence High School, Hosparus of Southern Indiana or to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
