Omer Richard Saltsgaver Obituary (1942

Lanesville, Indiana Omer Richard Saltsgaver, 68, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Harrison Transitional Care Center in Corydon, IN. He was born in Evans Landing, Indiana on September 3, 1942 the son of Omer E. and Delpha Ferree Saltsgaver. He was a retired Maintenance worker for Phillip-Morris in Louisville for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Edward Saltsgaver. He is survived by Two sons- Paul Saltsgaver (Georgette) and Lloyd Lee Saltsgaver (Sherry) both of Elizabeth, IN One Daughter- Patricia Collard (Richard) of Palmyra, IN One Sister- Jean Melton of Corydon, IN Nine grandchildren-Rob, Makayla, George Richard, Ryan, Steven Michael, Shane Alan, and Lloyd Lee Saltsgaver, Jr., Chris Houser and Richard Matthew Collard, Jr. Funeral services will be held at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon on Monday at 11:00 AM. Pastor Stephen McAfee will officiate. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in New Middletown, IN Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Corydon on Sunday from 4 PM to 8 PM and after 9 AM Monday. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Harrison County Animal Shelter. Pallbearers will be Steven, Ryan, Robbie and John Saltsgaver, Daniel Sloan and Jerry Melton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lloyd Lee Saltsgaver, Jr. and Ronald Harris.
