Michael Philip Grever Obituary (1951 - 2021)

Georgetown, In Michael Philip Grever, age 63, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home in New Albany, Indiana after a long struggle with Dementia. Mike was born July 10, 1957 in New Albany, Indiana to Philip Lawrence and Thelma Elizabeth (Day) Grever Fischer, who precede him in death. Mike loved music. He enjoyed working the sound system and was in various bands over the years. In his later years, Mike did a One-Man Band where he had recorded all the accompanying instruments and backing vocals himself. Mike was very dedicated to the Lord. He attended Celebration Worship Center in Georgetown, Indiana, but had been very involved with Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana for many years. A scripture Mike often quoted was Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.There will be a short graveside service at Wolfe Cemetery on Wolfe Cemetery Road in Georgetown, Indiana. 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2021.
