Lee "Bonnie" Ruffner Obituary (1946 - 2023)

Corydon, Indiana Lee "Bonnie" Ruffner, 76, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd. She was born October 17, 1946, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Alexander. She worked as a hairdresser and in ministry. Bonnie was the founder of Helmet Images Christian Service Agency. She loved her ministry; nothing made her happier than to give to those in need. She raised every single one of her grandchildren, alongside her husband, Ronald. She loved shopping and believed strongly in self-care, she loved diet coke, and most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald David Ruffner, and a grandchild, Anthony Sparrow. She leaves behind 2 daughters, Tina Garcia, and Heather Danielle Ruffner, both of Corydon, Indiana; son, Kristian Jack Kastner, of California; sister, Mary Kite(Kenneth), of Cypress, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Elisa Lucas, Richard Garcia, Priscilla Slanina, Steve Hampson, and Daniel Kastner; and 8 great grandchildren. Cremation was chosen per her request.
