Jessica Jurine "Jay" Meyer, 46 passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021, in Corydon, Indiana. She was born on September 22, 1974, the daughter of Barry Meyer and Sharon Vinzant.
Jay was a loving person with a heart of gold. She was a mother and grandmother to more than just her own, helping to raise many. She was a proud business owner with many different talents. Prior to owning her business, she worked for Shaffer's Towing, Town of Corydon, and JayC Food Store. No matter the situation, Jay would always find ways to give back, care for or help others in whatever way possible. Jay's larger than life personality is one that will truly be missed.
She is survived by her parents, 4 sons: Bobby Alan McDaniel (Kaitlyn) of Battle Creek, Michigan, Derrick Ray McDaniel (Haley) of Central, Indiana, Jesse Ray William Meyer of Corydon, Indiana, Kenny Decker (Kesha) of Ceresco, Michigan, one daughter, Sarah Lynn Meyer of Corydon, Indiana, 11 grandchildren: Natalia, Jr., Braxtyn, Jackstyn, Easton, Addisyn, Gunnar, Kayden, Taylor, Emery, Brenyn and two twin boys on the way, several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 6 PM at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home (318 E. Chestnut Street Corydon, Indiana 47112).
Visitation will begin at 11 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021, and go until service time of 6 PM.
