George McAleese

George McAleese, 87, passed away April 1, 2017 at home. He was born in Louisville, KY November 17, 1929 the son of Chester and Bessie Sprayberry McAleese. He was a heavy equipment operator, and a welder for many years at Jeffboat and had also worked at Fisher body shop. George was preceded in death by his parents and wife Wanda McAleese. He is survived by his daughter Georgette Saltsgaver (Paul) of Elizabeth, brother, Herb McAleese and sister JoAnn Hardin both of Elizabeth, two grandchildren MaKayla and Robbie Saltsgaver, and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Elizabeth, IN. Visitation will be from 10 AM - 8 PM Monday and from 9 AM - 11 AM Tuesday.
