Georgetown, Indiana Eva L. Hickey, 84, passed away, Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was born in Tomkinsville, KY on February 20, 1929 the daughter of Dewey and Lucy Temple Strickler Parsley. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband-Herbert H. Hickey, brothers- Stanley Hugh Parsley and Daniel Morris Parsley and sisters- Doris Cybil Mahaney, Geneva Pitchcock and Denio Blanche Petzold. She is survived by Son- Eddie Dean Hickey of Corydon, IN Daughters- Doris Faye Hardy of Georgetown, IN Hazel Anne Hickey of Clarksville, IN Nettie May Rowley (William) of Corydon, IN Brother-Kenneth Gordan Parsley of Palmyra, IN Sister- Norma Jean Reecer and Ruby Beasley both of Tompkinsville, KY Seven Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be held at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon on Friday at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Zoar Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Corydon on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
