Emil G. Miller, Jr. 85, died Monday, March 5 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He was born in Corydon on June 21, 1926, the son of Emil G. and Ethel Crabtree Miller, Sr. He was a retired equipment maintenance employee with the telephone companies. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of First Capital Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rowena Cunningham Miller and his son-in-law, Donald Troncin. He is survived by two daughters: Treggie King (Virgil) and Trena Troncin, both of Corydon. 3 Granddaughters: Erin Lamp-Coomer (Ryan) of Crandall Ashlee Lamp Kirchoff (Michael) of Evansville Ryan Lamp Conrad (John) of Corydon 5 Great Grandsons and 1 Great Granddaughter Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 8 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Vince Garmon will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, 11-8. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to the Henryville Disaster Relief Fund.
