Dorothy "Dot" L. Reader Obituary (1924

Corydon, IN Dorothy 'Dot' L. Reader, 89 died at her home, Thursday, February 27, 2014. She was born in New Albany, IN on June 11, 1924 to Joseph Burkhart and Agnes Gertrude Eve Schmitt. She was a former telephone operator for Indiana Bell and worked as a telephone operator at Camp Atterbury during WWII. She was a member of the Old Corydon County Club and St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Reader. She is survived by two nieces, Patricia Ann Tucker and Deanna Krininger both of New Albany, IN. Seven great-nieces and nephews: Michael Tucker, Lana Tucker, Mary Tucker, Marc Krininger, Brooke Omaur, Nicole Krininger and Brett Krininger, and 12 great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM on Sunday. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
