Georgetown, Indiana Doris J. Tyler, 85, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born in Floyd County, Indiana on July 27, 1930 the daughter of Leonard and Viola Kuehn Lemmel. She was a retired manager of the Convenient Food Mart and of the Better Way Food Mart both in New Albany, Indiana. She is survived by Her husband of 69 years-Robert Tyler of Georgetown, Indiana A Son- Gary R. Tyler (Anita) of Louisville, Kentucky A Daughter- Sandra Condra (David) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana A Sister- Margie Curts of New Albany, Indiana Three Grandchildren- Carrie Baker of Floyds Knobs, Indiana Danny Browning of Georgetown, Indiana Olivia Tyler of Auburn, Alabama Three Great Grandchildren- Reagan and Grant Baker and Sophia Browning. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, Indiana. Rev. Roy McClain will officiate. Burial will be in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown. Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 8 PM Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the funeral home in Georgetown. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
