Donald Robert Farnsley

Donald Robert Farnsley, 88, died Friday, February 18, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born July 30, 1933. He retired from Phillip Morris in Louisville, Ky where he was the Assistant Plant Manager. He was the retired owner / operator of Lincoln Springs Tree Farm and Garden Center, Former New Albany-Floyd County School Board Member and President, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Silver Street United Methodist Church in New Albany, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Norma Shaney. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Farnsley of Georgetown, Indiana, sons: Doug Farnsley and Steve Farnsley both of Georgetown, Indiana, daughters: Jessica Williams of Louisville, Kentucky, Betsy Farnsley of Washington, North Carolina, Brenda (Marc) Donati of St. Charles, Illinois; six grandchildren: Brian (Jessica) Wethington, Brad(Angela) Wethington, Josh (Kristin) Farnsley, Casey (Jordan) Churchill, Brock Donati, Caroline Donati; ten Great-Grandchildren; two nieces: Becky Reardon and Donna Love. There will be a visitation Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, Indiana. There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
