Billie Jayne "BJ" Price Obituary (1959 - 2024)

Billie J. Price "BJ", age 64, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, in Hodgenville, Kentucky. She was born June 8, 1959, the daughter of Joseph L. and Helen M. Thompson Cissell. BJ was a graduate of Holy Rosary Catholic school. Upon graduating high school, she attended Kentucky College of barbering. Later opening and operating a salon in Bardstown, Kentucky for many years. She loved gardening, riding motorcycles, and most importantly spending time with the people she loved the most. She was full of spunk, never hesitating to say what was on her mind. She fought hard and loved even harder. She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen M. Thompson Cissell, one infant daughter, Michelle Brey, one brother, Rick Cissell, and one sister in law, Wanda Price. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Price, one son, Brent Brey (Tonya), four daughters: Melissa Pfanmoeller (Michael), Ashley Brey-Kirkpatrick (Lee), Jessica Price (Dooie Roberts), and Leslie Williamson (Nathan), grandchildren: Kaitlynn, Kylie, Breydon, Breyley, Kayson, Lance, Aubree, Macy, Mike, and Mary (Charlie), great grandchild, Mavis, her father, Joseph L. Cissell, brothers: Bruce Cissell (Gina) and Jeff Cissell (Diana), brother in laws: Dean Price (Tammy), Joey Price (Lois), Eddie Price (Missy), and Neal Price, her beloved dog of 15 years, Tater Tot, along with many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family. Funeral Service will be at 7 PM on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Houghlin - Greenwell Funeral Home (1475 New Shepherdsville Road, Bardstown, Kentucky 40004). Brother Gary Chesser will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 PM until the service time of 7 PM at the funeral home. Gehlbach and Royse funeral home was entrusted to handle arrangements.
