Bernie Allen West Obituary (1958 - 2017)

Corydon, Indiana Bernie "Birddog" West, 59, passed away June 17, 2017. He was born June 5, 1958 in Corydon, IN the son of Walter Sr and Mary O'Bryan West. He was a beloved worker for nearly 10 years in all aspects of wood prep, building and finishing cabinets at Schmidt Cabinet Company of New Salisbury, IN and a member of Son's of the American Legion. He was preceded by his parents and one sister; Bobbie Martin. He is survived by Two Sons; Timothy and Travis West both of Corydon, IN Two Daughters; Sherra West(Lori) and Shaunna Hubert(Jeremy) both of Corydon, IN Two Brothers; Walter West(Linda) of Georgetown, IN and Jimmy West(Alice) of New Salisbury Four Sisters; Christina Stroud(Junior) of Corydon, IN, Evelyn Hollrah(Dallas) of Georgetown, IN, Paula Dirck of Corydon, IN, Rosetta Parker(Darrell) of New Salisbury, IN Five Grandchildren; Jeremy, Jasmine, Isabella, Destiny and Samuel. A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 7PM on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Visitation will begin at 11AM and continue until the Memorial Ceremony on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
