Alan G. Frakes Obituary (1950 - 2020)

Alan Gail Frakes (Frisky), 69, of Laconia, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at his home. Alan was born in Corydon on June 27, 1950, the son of Joe and Bonnie Miller Frakes. Alan retired after 30 years from the Louisville Ford Assembly Plant and was a member of the Pisgah 32 Masonic Lodge in Corydon. He was an avid IU fan, loved Ford vehicles, Nascar, fishing, hunting, Thursday nights in the garage and spending time with his family and friends and his dog, Toby. Alan is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dianne (Bierly) Frakes; one son, Joe Frakes; one daughter, Lisa Jacobi (Alan); two grandchildren, Heather Ewing (Cody) and Joe Jacobi. Cremation with no services was chosen with regards to Alan's wishes. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Richard D. Brown, Donna Purvis and Lisa Freeman.
