Addison Newell Bell Obituary (1925

DATELINE: Corydon, IN Addison Newell Bell, 85, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at home. She was born in Abilene, Texas on September 12, 1925, the daughter of Nicholas Addison and Henry Mobley Lane. She was a former member of the Redeemer Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky and a present member of the Calvary Baptist Church in New Salisbury, IN. She volunteered as a nurses aid during WWII. She was a loving mother and honored Christ with her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Sue Stoughton and Maxine Dudley. Survivors include: Two sons David H. Bell of Columbus, Georgia and Mark Bell of Georgetown, Kentucky Two daughters Peggy Billips of Rosenberg, Texas and Mary Hurtgen (Jeff) of Corydon Two sisters Hazel Lane and Frances Glazar of Redding, California 17 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 13 at 1 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church in New Salisbury, IN. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 AM 1 PM at the church. Pastor Michael McHone will officiate. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation: Saturday 10 AM -1 PM Funeral: Saturday 1 PM Interment: Cedar Hill Cemetery
