Laura L. Royse, President of Gehlbach & Royse. Laura served the funeral business throughout her 48 year marriage to Roger, assuming the leadership role upon his passing in 2004. Her dedication to the service of our clients has made her a well-loved and familiar presence . She is a lifelong resident of Harrison county, and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Ashley attends Mid-American College of Funeral Service working toward her Associates Degree in Mortuary Science.  She ives in Bardstown, Kentucky with her husband, Lee and her 2 children, Breydon and Breyley.  Ashley joined Gehlbach & Royse in March 2021.

Holly Royse Glordan

President

Holly M. Glordan, is 4th generation of Gehlbach & Royse family and holds the position of President in the Corporation. She is the office administrator for Gehlbach & Royse.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of Louisville and also holds an Associate Degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from JCTC.  Holly and her husband Scott, live in Corydon and have two grown sons, Maxwell and Benjamin.  She attends Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, is a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, and enjoys volunteering for the Ronald McDonald House in Louisville.

Willard M. Haas

General Manager

Willard M. Haas, General Manager, is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the states of Indiana and Kentucky. Willard handles funeral arrangements and pre-need counseling. He earned his degree from Mid America College of Funeral Services in 2004 and has been with Gehlbach & Royse since that time. As General Manager, he oversees employee scheduling and building maintenance, and the general daily operation of the funeral homes. Willard is Notary Public and a native of Harrison County.

Fred Royse - Retired

Fred Royse, is 3rd generation of the Gehlbach family. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Indiana and is retired at this time. He is a native of Harrison County and he and his wife, Beulah live in Corydon. They have two grown children, Laurie and Paul. Fred and his wife are members of Old Capital United Methodist Church.

Gerald Saulman- Retired

Gerald Saulman, is a native of Harrison County and resides in Corydon. Gerald has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Indiana since 1962. Gerald and his wife, Martha, have four grown children, Jerry, Joe Jon, and Sarah Nevitt. Gerald has been a member of the Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Dept. for 55 years. He works full time for the Harrison County Assessor.

Jonathan Windell is the 5th generation of the Gehlbach & Royse Family and Vice President of the Corporation. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Indiana.  Jonathan attended Mid America College of Funeral Services and received a Bachelor's Degree in Mortuary Science. He is a member of Pi Sigma Eta national Morticians Fraternity. He is the father of 3 young children, two pot belly pigs and Willee, his dog.  

Lou Anne Royse Emily

Lou Anne Royse Emily, is 4th generation and  Secretary/Treasurer of Gehlbach & Royse. Lou Anne handles funeral arrangements, as well a pre-need counseling. She earned her degree from Mid America College of Funeral Service in 1993. Lou Anne is married to Dale Emily and she has two grown sons Jonathan and Zachery Windell, and two step-sons Daniel and Michael Emily. She is a member of Corydon Rotary Club, Harrison County Chamber of Commerce, Harrison Education Animal Responsibility Team (HEART), the Daughters of American Revolution, St. Joseph Catholic Church and Pi Sigma Eta Mortician Fraternity.

Norene Trobaugh Minor, Funeral Service Associate. Norene is a native of Harrison County and began working for Gehlbach & Royse part-time upon her retirement from the County Highway Dept. in 2012. She can usually be found working as the Office Assistant in the Corydon location. She lives in Lanesville with her husband Tom and has two daughters, Lori Minor Schmidt and Keri Minor. She is also Worship Director for Pfrimmer's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Fairy Sillings, Funeral Service Associate at Georgetown. Fairy is a native of Harrison County and has worked for Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home since 1996. She is usually present at our Georgetown visitations to greet, welcome and comfort the families we serve. She lives in Georgetown. Fairy and her late husband, Richard, raised four children together in the Georgetown area. She is a member of Georgetown Christian Church.
