Obituary for Virgil Edward Leffler

Corydon, Indiana



Virgil Edward Leffler, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 due to complications from an unexpected illness. He was a successful farmer and mechanic, served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a life long member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Corydon. He is survived by his five children and their families, David (Sherri), Charles (Karen), Kelly (Elizabeth), Melody Beauchamp (Jean-Phillippe) and Timothy (Shelley); three stepchildren, Lin Carr, Michael Carr, and Michele Blank; 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Friday, February 3, 2017 and from 8 AM to 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home in Corydon. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Lanesville Community School's ELF program.

Funeral:
11 AM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana

Interment:
St. Peter\'s Lutheran Cemetery in Corydon, Indiana
