Obituary for Thomas A. Wood

Greenville, Indiana
Thomas A. Wood, 73, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. He was born July 24, 1944 in Huntingburg, IN the son of Thomas Junior and Christeen Beanblossom Wood. He was a machinist for Henry Vogt Machine and was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church in Louisville. He is survived by his wife, Alma Capito Wood of Greenville, IN; 1 son, Thomas Anthony Wood (Julianne) of Georgetown, IN; one daughter, Rebecca Jo Vincent (Ricky) of Greenville, IN; one brother, Timmie Wood (Debora) of Louisville, KY; 6 grandchildren, Sophia and Madilynn Wood, Julie Bohannon, Alaina Mason, Lindsay Vincent and Trinity Connelly; 3 great grandchildren, Isaac, Luke and William Bohannon. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be held from 2 PM to 8 PM Friday, May 18, 2018 and on Saturday from 11 AM until the service at 2 PM at the funeral home in Corydon. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
