Corydon, Indiana

Stanley O. Blank, 89, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at Baptist Health-Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born June 13, 1927 in Lanesville, IN the son of William J. and Adele Schneider Blank. He was an employee of American Standard in Louisville for 30 years, was a farmer, was an Army veteran during the Korean Conflict and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Corydon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Georgia C. Weis Blank.

He is survived by

Two sons-Roger Blank of Corydon, IN and Mark Blank (Susan) of Frankfort, IN; a brother, Howard Blank of Bertha, Minnesota; two sisters, Margie Miller of Corydon, IN and Marilyn Boyd of Crandall, IN; two granddaughters, Jennifer Dailey and Amy Lousararian and two great grandsons, Noah Daniel Dailey and Oliver Mark Dailey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, February 9, 2017 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Pastor Laura Meier will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 and 9 AM to 10:30 AM Thursday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
