Obituary for Michael Dale Taylor

Michael D. Taylor, 69, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN. He was born May 1, 1949 in Los Angeles, CA the son of Bill Jones and Edith Osborne Taylor. He worked in the Army Corps of engineers in Real Estate. He was a member of Edwardsville United Methodist Church in Edwardsville, IN.
He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother and his loving wife of nearly 40 years Jacqueline McKim Taylor;
Three Sons- Shane Hartman, Tristan and Early Ray Forester all of Georgetown, IN
One Daughter- Sherri Albertson(Troy) of New Albany, IN
Eight Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2 PM, Monday, July 30, 2018 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will begin Sunday, July 29, 2018 from Noon until 8 PM and on Monday from 12 PM until the service at 2PM.
The family would like to express how happy Michael was to reconnect with his lost family and are comforted knowing he had that opportunity.
