Obituary for Melissa A. Evaline

Melissa A. Evaline, 51, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem, IN. She was born September 18, 1965 in Salem, Indiana the daughter of Junior Clyde and Bonnie J. Adkins Evaline. She was a 1983 graduate of West Washington High School, was a Funeral Director and Embalmer at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Homes, Inc. at both Corydon and Georgetown since 2008. She was retired from the United States Air Force and worked at Ford Motor Company before graduating from Mid America College of Funeral Service in 2007. She served as secretary of her class. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Salem.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Timothy Evaline.
She is survived by her mother, her sister, Zettie Cooley (Shawn) of Great Lakes, IL; nieces and nephews, Crystalyn Evaline, Emily Nicholson (Wesley), Sarah Evaline, Keira, Kaitlyn and Kacey Cooley, one great nephew Noah Evaline and one great niece Lexi Evaline.
The Funeral Ceremony will be at 1PM, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 3PM until 8PM and Thursday from 10 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
