Obituary for Donald L. Thieneman

Donald L. Thieneman, 77, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Corydon, Indiana. He was born in Louisville, KY on November 11, 1939, the son of Bernard P. and Evelyn Ann Kotheimer Thieneman.
He was the co-owner of Corydon Concrete Company for 32 years. He was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, Knights of Columbus and was a passionate fundraiser for St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Thieneman.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hilda Gettelfinger Thieneman
3 sons – Donald Joseph (Kelly), Steven L., and Kenneth D. (Shannon)
2 Daughters – Cindy Shireman (Joe) and Soni O’Bannon (Jon)
Grandchildren –
James and Daniel Shireman
Dalton, Parker, Jackson and Presley Thieneman
Hayley (Adam) Hall
Savannah and Tristin Thieneman
Jacob, Brennan, Dillon and Kiera Thieneman
Elle and Kadie O’Bannon
Great Granddaughter – Riley Hall
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 19 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 312 E. High Street, Corydon. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 11-7 at the church. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy be made to the Harrison County Community Foundation: In Memory of Donald L. Thieneman, P.O. Box 279, Corydon, IN 47112
