Obituary for David W. Brock, Jr.

David W. Brock, Jr., 68, passed away Tuesday. March 21, 2017 at his home. He was born August 21, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana. He was a 1966 graduate of New Albany High School, and married Nancy Razor Brock, June 20, 1970. He retired from Walker Mechanical in 2013 and was a member of the Plumbers Union Local 502 and was a member of Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Edwardsville, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his father, David W. Brock, Sr., his brother, George Brock and sister Karen Hinson. He is survived by his wife Nancy of Georgetown, Indiana; four daughters, Lyn Brock Gaines (Donny) of Sulphur, KY; Melisa Brock Bays (Randy Southerland), Denise Brock, Kimberly Moon (Josh) all of Georgetown, IN.; his mother, Betty Milliner Brock of Nashville, TN, two sisters, Vivian Egelhoff (Larry) of Nashville, TN and Kathy Brock of St. Joseph, MO.; seven grandchildren, Garrett and Bryce Moon, Jaci Gaines, Nicholas Brock, L.J. Lemmel, Shelby Rae Bays and Case Southerland and three step grandsons, Donald, Kenneth and Joseph Gaines, step great-granddaughter Serenity LaFerriere. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM Friday, March 24, 2017 and from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home in Georgetown.
