Bruce E. Babcock, 63, passed away February 5, 2018 in Lakeland Florida. He was born February 23, 1954 in New Albany, IN the son of Walter F. and Mary Louise Murphy Babcock. He was a retired logger for Babcock and Sons Logging and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Elizabeth. He was survived by two sons, Adam Bruce Babcock (Ashley) of Elizabeth and Micah Scott Babcock of Seattle, WA; one daughter, Mary Faith (Travis) of Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Josie (Zechariah), Annabelle, Georgia and Emma , three sisters, Brenda Shircliff, Barbara Robson and Sara Deatrick (Kenny) all of Elizabeth; four brothers, Glenn Babcock of Laconia, IN, Fred Babcock (Kathy) of Florida, Dale Babcock (Susan) and Tim Babcock (Terri) both of Elizabeth; his companion Sandra Satterfield of Lakeland and her children Rebecca, Pamela and Lonnie and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, February 12, 2018, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Elizabeth, Indiana. Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, beginning at 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana
